Harm Reduction Means Respect, Dignity, Compassion

Dear Friends – We are so grateful to all of you for being so instrumental in helping us make a difference for those suffering from Substance Use Disorder. Your contributions have allowed us to take what was once an idea discussed around a dinner table and transform it into real impact in our community. More on the work we’re doing below. Dear Friends, Earlier this year, we launched Hope for Healing as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit to honor our son and brother, Matthew, who died of a substance use disorder in 2015. For our first #GivingTuesday, we’re proud to be participating alongside hundred of other Illinois nonprofitsRead More →

We had a great turn-out and we were glad to be able to reach out to so many young adults (approx. 250). Next, were involved in a fundraising event to raise sponsors for Danny Hussey (Matt’s cousin) to support his efforts to raise money for Hope for Healing the Miles for Matt initiative.
